almost new - less than 3 yrs old, plus i travel a lot so it's prob only used for 2 yrs.. the mattress is an individual pocket spring mattress & the base has adjustable slats..caters for people with different weights sharing the bed - & bcause of the ind pocket springs, you can barely feel movement coming from another side of the bed.. great value for money!!!
